Keeping the Waldron and Harmann families in our thoughts tonight. With tears in our eyes and sorrow in our hearts we are announcing the passing of Holly's father Dave Harmann. A legend to some , a mentor to many and a true friend to most! Dave dedicated his life to the purebred sheep industry. His insight and innovation he brought in from what he saw in the cattle industry set the standard with his practices that he incorporated into production sales in the sheep industry. He was also recognized as the Golden feed scoop and his preparation of sheep through fitting and feeding was highly recognized in the industry The influence of Van Vleck and Harmann prefix will stand the test of time in the Hampshire breed along with the Green Mountain and Mithoffer in the Dorsets and his retirement years working at Riverwood farms always brought smile to his face when mentioned. Though his passion was the sheep industry his heart is at one now with his greatest love and that was his wife Kathy now in heaven and just in time to celebrate their anniversary next week . In fact our first statement would not be what Dad would of wanted but in fact help us celebrate a man that had a huge impact on so many lives . Grab a beer , sit on a trimming stand, reflect on a memory and Crack a smile in remembrance of him because thats how he would want it .
